America's VetDogs Clients:
America's VetDogs was created in 2003 to answer the need for specially trained assistance dogs for combat-wounded service members who had been deployed to Iraq or Afghanistan.  However, VetDogs helps all American veterans who have served honorably, regardless of when or where they served, or how they became disabled.  The program was created and incorporated to give veterans easy access to the best services possible to improve their lives. Since then, VetDogs has expanded their services to include providing these specially trained dogs to our country's First Responders.

Paul Sullivan - Marine Veteran & First Responder
I applied to America’s VetDogs and was accepted. In 2021 Sal came into my life. This was during the pandemic so my initial meeting and training time on campus were limited. But I remember my first night very well. I was having a terrible night terror, and I awoke to Sal practically jumping on the bed trying to wake me up. I remember thinking, “This is going to work.”
